Washington's Crossing

by Mike
(Georgia, USA)

A while back I finished a history book called "Washington’s Crossing". I was really impressed how George Washington's style of leadership changed. It changed by following moral or ideal principles combined with practicality.

In his youth he was a terrible leader. Of coarse there were so many great people around him, but that was part of his leadership style, combining his weaknesses with the strengths of those around him.

I think Biographies can be great books on how to live. Pick a person that lived a great life and find a good biography on that person. You will find things to do and things not to do reading biographies.
