visionary leadership is the key to moving forward

if you want to take your business or group you are leading forward then you need visionary leadership.

Every leader is busy from a leader is a small business with 1 to 10 employees to a CEO of a billion dollar business. It does not take much to fill our time with just the every day activity. What does vision do? It give you the ability to look past all the busy work and see what is important.

Knowing where you have been- Knowing were you have been is an important part of vision. This give you the ability to know what has work, and what has not. For a business what made you more money then it cost (in money and TIME). For a leader what got you what ever is consider progress in your leadership. This knowledge will help you make your future plan.

Knowing where you are- Same as above, but also give you your starting point for all your goals and visions.

Knowing where you want to be- If you do not have visionary leadership you will not be able to take your group to the top. You will not know were the top is and you will not know how to get there. Effective leader need to have a clear picture of what they want.

Then you got to be able to put it all together combine what you what with your knowledge of what you have already done to create a plan, on who, what, where, when, why, and how to get you to your vision.

You and or your team may need to learn new things to make it happen. You will have to commit to the vision. It may not be easy to go from where you are to where you want to be,.but if you did not know what it was you wanted it would be even harder.
