Leadership Comes From Within

by Bandi

Leadership to me is a quality that comes to me from within, many great leaders became great leaders because they always wanted to lead from the front. It is the desire to lead that is most important. One of the qualities of a great leader is to have hands on and hands off approach.

To be clear, the leader should not adopt a hands on approach, in which he takes every decision himself. This may lead to revolt. The leader should not be to hands off, leaving all his decisions to his subordinates, which may lead to undesired results. He should have a balanced approach while doing things.

Other qualities that make a great leader are his oratory skills. He should move the masses by his words. History tells us that great orators became great leaders. One of the other things that a leader needs to take care of is his personal life, many great leaders failed to withstand because of the problems in their personal life affecting their leadership, sometimes even leading to the questioning of their ability.
