Lead from the front

by Ansh

Setting an example and lead from the front, this is one leadership characteristic that can do wonders. If we just do what we expect our followers to do, things become easier. The moment our subordinates see our approach and our attitude in the tasks, they want to adapt to it and be just like us. They know what their leader is looking for and what could make them succeed.

Autocratic style of leadership is what plays well in present times. Businesses look for leaders that are acceptable to their subordinates and at the same time can influence the team to get the best results. It goes like “let us do together” rather than mere allocation of tasks.

People love to work with a person whom they can trust. They want someone who should be fair and with ethical values. When they see a guy who is showing them the way, they easily believe in him and get to work in friendlier environment. This is turn improves productivity and result into success of the leader. It is like being an army commander who has his soldiers behind him and commander has to fight as well as motivate the group. Leadership in perfect sense is to lead effectively and from front.
