If you strain and practice with full desire and will power, certainly you will become a good leader with appropriate qualities. If you are keeping a never ending self study only you will become a good leader.

Besides, good and sincere education, training and experience are some of the principles needed to become a good leader. You have to inspire your subordinates into higher levels of teamwork with complete cooperation. You always must be aware of what things you have to do, what things you have to not to do, and how you have to be. These essential features for good leadership will not come as your inborn nature and you cannot make it possible unless you do sincere practice and by your continuous work and study.

Actually if all your subordinates respects you, the reason for their respect is they do not think about your post, authority or your attributes but they observe what you do and by which they can clearly understand who you really. To maintain your leadership you have to attribute all your beliefs, values, and character, knowledge, utmost skills etc,. If you are a leader for something, definitely it will give you some specific tasks and objectives in the management.
