DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES FOR BEING AN EFFECTIVE LEADER

The site mentions more or less all the attributes of being a good leader. Some of the points pertinent in this regard as occur to me based on my own experience are as follows.
1. No matter whether one is leading a small team of workers, players or students, a good leader should act in a way as to assure even the least important member, that his/her voice is heeded. Any member, if he/she feels being constantly ignored, will cease to contribute to potential towards the goals the team has set.
2. In case one is to be an effective leader of somewhat a larger number of people, he/she must take most of them into confidence by dividing them in smaller groups. At no point, the leader’s communication with individual groups should differ in its essence. If done inadvertently, this should be clarified without delay. However, if this is being used as a deliberate tool, be sure it may succeed, if at all, to a limited extent; it won’t take the leader far.
3. Leader’s actions should speak louder than his words. It has been proven time and again by eminent men who have left their mark as a leader.
