democratic leadership style

My Leadership style would be democratic. As a leader the primary objective for one is to understand that it is not just his brain that can contribute but also the brains of his subordinates.

There are changes that the subordinates may have a very innovate/effective idea/solution that would help in achieving the objective faster/easier and in an effective way. Being a democratic leader allows the leader to have a smooth relationship with his subordinates which is very important.

By this way the subordinates will not only do what is best for them but will do what is best for the entire team. Being a democratic leader does not mean that he/she should be lenient. He should understand the limit and let the subordinates understand it even better.

It is always good to leverage all of those involved.
