Transformational Leadership style



what it is- as its name implies Transformational Leadership style focus is on transforming. This transformation is first focused on changing the followers. Helping them grow and improve. Then creating a unity within the organization where everyone is working to help each other, and build each other up. This is much better than “teams” where everyone is just looking out for themselves and willing to tear each other down only to help their own needs, how productive do you think this team can be?

To accomplish this style, the Leader must:

Have lots and positive energy, positive view of each member of the team and of the direction of the team to accomplish higher goals then they are now.

Able to connect with people, it is very important to this style of leadership that the leader can connect with the members of the team.

Vision, The leader needs to have a vision for the organization, and be able to connect each member with the vision.

What is good - There are many positive to this style. The main thing is the strong connection to the people.

Take away for our own leadership- is how much power is in connecting with people. Know the members of your team. Try to learn thing they like, learn more about them then the work they do. This gives you a deeper connection.

Get your team connected, get your team to connect with each other and help each other.
